
Williams and Sons was a retailer at the famous Los Angeles Farmer's Market that sold produce to Los Angelenos starting in 1934. In 1948, the Farmer's Market opened a new building on Fairfax Avenue that offered retail and office space.
B. Frank "private labeled" with manufacturers stateside and in Hawaii to have exclusive shirts with their own labels for their store. The name Haberdasher on their label suggested fine collections of clothes and men's furnishings from a proprietor who owned and worked at his own store.
