The Lelani Gift Shop had two locations, one in downtown Honolulu on Fort Street and one in Waikiki on Kalakaua Avenue. They sold Hawaii-inspired souvenirs, printed dresses, shirts, shorts and swim wear for men, women and children. In the 1950's they ordered apparel for the whole family in hand printed patterns from Shaheen a local manufacturer with their own art department, printing facility, cutting and sewing operations.
The Watumull family who started with retail in downtown Honolulu in 1914 owned and operated the stores.
