Kilohana

Kilohana was a brand of Kilohana Distributors founded in 1952. The President of the company was Charles Koji Nakano. They used local converters in Hawaii such as Japan Silk to purchase their Japanese piece goods. They sold to upscale specialty stores like Liberty House and McInerny.
Their first location was at 1126 Smith Street in Honolulu.

The word "Kilohana" has many meanings in Hawaiian, one being; "best, superior, or excellent". Their label was simple with a stylish type font bearing their name and the classic coconut tree loaded with nuts.
