Kihi Kihi

Kihi Kihi Sportswear was a label division of Wong's Products who made many of the small shops' original production of Aloha Shirts. They made the shirts for Branfleet with the Kahala and Duke Kahanamoku label, and garments for the King Smith store that was run by the son of the owner, Ellery Chun.

Ellery Chun has been given credit for making the first Aloha Shirts commercially and he also copyrighted the name. "Aloha Shirt". The label bears a Kihi Kihi, the Moorish Idol fish and a scalloped blue ocean. Their labels were proudly sewn into some of the most beautiful shirts made in the "Golden Age" of Hawaiian Shirts, from 1935 to 1955.
