Jantzen is best known for their brand of swimwear which was established in 1916 in Portland, Oregon. The label
features an image of a young woman, dressed in a red one-piece swimsuit and bathing hat, in a diving posture with outstretched arms and an arched back.
In the early 1950's, Jantzen created a line of Hawaiian-like motif and sport themed shirts to compete with the national Hawaiian shirt trend.
