The Hawaiian word "Hoomaha" translates to "vacation, retire, or rest", a befitting name for a Hawaii garment manufacturer in the late 1940's and 1950's. Not much has been printed about this label and we do not know about its origins.
They made beautiful shirts with great themes characteristic of the islands.
