Guymont

Guymont was a trademark filed in 1951 by Washington Manufacturing Company based in Nashville, Tennessee.
They made men's clothing, namely sport shirts, dress shirts, sport jackets and slacks. Like many mainland garment manufacturers in the early 1950's, they created their own interpretation of the boldly printed Aloha Shirts that had originated in Hawaii in the 1930's.

Guymont chose a clean label, with no reference to Hawaii, adding only a small crest with a G along with their name in a stylish typeface framed by two simple straight lines.
