After World War II, many servicemen returned to the United States from Asia and the Pacific islands with Aloha Shirts that were made in Hawaii since the 1930s. Large mainland companies inspired by the Hawaiian Aloha Shirts created summer lines with their own versions of printed shirts. A lot of well known and seemingly obscure companies made shirts and followed the Aloha Shirt trend in the 1950's.
Comodoro is a unfamiliar name in the collectable vintage Aloha Shirt world and not much is known about this label and company.
