A vertical border of shells, seaweed and hermit crabs are carefully balanced and laid out over a white fishing net.
Cutting a border print required extra care on the cutting table, to ensure that each panel, in each size would have equal and balanced placement in the design. This required all the pieces of the pattern to be individually placed on the goods to make the proper marker for each cutting. This took more time and required greater fabric usage.
