The influence of the Aloha Shirt went around the world to inspire this shirt. Intricately laid out with a well-engineered front of crescent moons and stars with rows of palms giving shade to resting shepherds and their camels. Lone shepherds walk their procession of camels past palms, pyramids, and various larger mosques.
Since the reign of Ottoman, the crescent moon and star have been placed on top of mosque roofs. These ancient celestial symbols were used for their worship of the sun, moon and sky gods. Eastern religious elements unfamiliar to Hawaiian shirts were combined together in this two-way vertical border print.
