A lone road meanders through a mountain village on this short-sleeved vintage Hawaiian shirt by Mildred’s of Hawaii. The road starts from a small village in the hillside, only the roofs of the houses exposed above the tall trees and pines surrounding them. It crosses a gorge, over a bridge, and into a forest of trees engulfed in shadows. Generously colored with many shades of each of the shirts colors, this fabric was most likely hand-painted, requiring exceptional patience and skill.
