Native beach boys climb a curving coconut tree high above the ground. Climbers pass each other in this two way vertical design as palms weave their way together. These fruit bearing trees are native to Polynesia and their average harvest are about 60 coconuts.
The artist chose to space the coconut trees to allow the eye to really investigate the tree climbers in three balanced places on a shirt front.
