Iolani created a number of stunning scenic designs, often representing an actual place. They sent photos photos, postcards or advertisements to Japanese textile companies who created the art and printed the shirts.
Mountains on Kauai’s west side, loom in the background as water flows over a small waterfall and down a stream. The banks of the stream are lush with red and green ti plants and palms. A limited number of these shirts were made.
