Holo Holo 001

In Hawaiian, the words, “holo holo,” means to “go for a walk, ride or sail; to go out for pleasure.” And that’s exactly what this short-sleeved aloha shirt by Holo Holo conveys. Here, though, it’s a holo holo in Waikīkī on a warm summer evening with hula dancers in grass skirts and shirtless canoe paddlers and surfers playing in the friendly waves off Kūhiō Beach.  There’s also kāhili — feather standards — the seal of Hawai‘i, and birds of paradise, too. Everything is lit by the setting sun, as the day winds down in Honolulu.
