Hale Hawaii 007

This three-quarter-length-sleeved aloha shirt is typical of Hale Hawaii. Owner Wah Cho Lock believed aloha shirts should convey what appeals to visitors — meaning, pineapples, surf, flowers and leis. This shirt has all of that — plus tropical fish, hula dancers, throw net fishermen, and a bounty of fruits like bananas and pineapples. A trio of lei-decked dancers sway under an evening sky, accompanied by a shirtless drummer. Another Hawaiian musician plays slack-key guitar in a coconut hat nearby. There are crashing waves surrounding a lone throw net fisherman in pursuit of that big catch.
