Cisco was a sportswear company in New York that made an arrangement in 1950 to make shirts with Hawaii’s legendary swimmer, surfer and ambassador of Aloha, Duke Kahanamoku.
Out of a velvet black background pops brilliant orchids, a huge ripe pineapple and trumpet vines. This border design had to be cut “across the goods” and aligned carefully to have the vines climbing symmetrically up towards the collar.
