Duke Kahanamoku and New York garment company, Cisco collaborated and created a Duke Kahanamoku sportswear collection in 1950. Their collection was distributed to better stores across the country.
This geometric engineered shirt has a solid vertical gap running along the shirt front. Little white coconut tree motifs subtly dot the background, rectangles of tapa markings in various colors, and larger motifs with huts, coconut trees and canoes in shades of brown combine to create this easy to wear shirt.
