Duke Kahanamoku 006

Cisco was a sportswear company in New York that made an arrangement in 1950 to make shirts with Hawaii’s legendary swimmer, surfer and ambassador of Aloha, Duke Kahanamoku.

A vertical panel of of stylized and multicolored flowers climb up and down the front of this shirt.  A subtle black color adds a dimension and interest to the vibrantly colored flowers. Montgomery Clift wore this print in the 1954 film classic, From Here to Eternity.
