Named “Kailua Races” this tropical horse-race design was created in 1950. The Duke Kahanamoku Champion collection for Cisco hang tag read: “Designed in Hawaii by famous Duke Kahanamoku. Authentic island patterns on fine quality washable rayon, tailored with an eye for detail.”
A four-way design with horses racing in all directions under a lone palm tree on a midnight green ground. This longed sleeve shirt was ideal for a day at the Southern California Del Mar race track in the early 1950’s.
