Futuristic space travel with space men and rockets racing around the galaxy. This traffic jam in outer space is a 4 way print with elements going in all four directions contributing to the chaotic nature of this design. The artist had a great imagination and must have had a sense that Man would walk on the moon in the decades that would follow. This would have been a great shirt for American Neil Armstrong after he accomplished the first Moon walk in 1969.
Twin chest flap pockets and the not so common long sleeves add to the specialness of this non Hawaiian out of the ordinary shirt. This shirt was especially made for the prestigious Montgomery Ward who reigned as one of the country’s largest department stores and mail-order retail chains.
